So our first winter here in Atlanta we got some snow!! It was beautiful......all the neighborhood kids got out and played and made a snowman! They loved it......

They say we may get some more tomorrow! Very exciting to have snow here in the South!

(and we did get snow a 2nd time! almost 3 inches! So much fun.....)

First Show at the Fox Theatre!

We went to see "Annie" at the Fox Theatre here in Atlanta last night. It was Aubrey's first theatre experience and she absolutely loved it! She hung in there all the way to the end (almost 3 hours!) The only hard part was trying to convince her not to sing along during all of her favorite songs..........luckily they sang one more verse of "Tomorrow" for the curtain call so I let her belt it out while everyone else was busy clapping.

First Day of Ballet!

Aubrey began her first day of ballet today! She is taking at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center here in Atlanta. Her teacher happens to be one of my best friends since I was 11 years old! It is so special to me to have "Ms. Kate" teaching my baby girl..........and she just loves it!
Aubrey's friend Ellery is taking with her and they had so much fun together. As you can see from all the smiles they were in heaven! They talked about it nonstop afterwards until they fell asleep on the way home. So sweet...........

2007 in Review

So just wanted to post some of our favorite moments from the past year here in Atlanta. We have had so many wonderful times here in our new home, with old and new friends, lots of visitors, and we have enjoyed every minute of it! If you haven't been to visit us, please do! We love the company......

Broadway Baby

So this is Aubrey's rendition of "Maybe" from Annie. She calls it the "baby" song.........she is completely obsessed with the Annie soundtrack! We are going to the Fox Theatre here in Atlanta next week to see "Annie". She is soooo excited.

The Holidays 2007

Happy New Year Everyone! We had such a wonderful holiday season........almost a full month of celebrating and visiting with family and friends. We feel so blessed this year, especially to have such wonderful friends and family. Aubrey truly enjoyed herself and between all her grandparents and friends she was spoiled rotten!
We wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2008!

Katz Family in Hot-Lanta!

So we are officially finindg ourselves at home here in Atlanta, GA !

We have been here for 9 whole months now, which we all agree has been the longest, yet somehow quickest 9 months of our lives! We are adjusting well, Aubrey is in preschool and loving it. She has made alot of wonderful friends here and just loves her new house, oh, and her new kitten. Yes, we have added another pet to our little family and our dog Winnie, could not be happier. She loves the company! Our kitten is named Annie, and unfortunately we found out too late that Annie is actually a boy! But Aubrey refuses to change his name so there you have it.

Jon is adjusting to his new job well and really enjoying it. Jamie is teaching music classes for preschoolers and keeping up with Aubrey (which is a full time job in itself! ) :)

We are just so happy and so thankful to be blessed with a beautiful home here, wonderful friends and family who supported us through this move, and we are looking forward to all the years to come here in Georgia!
